I totally trust Jim Leyland's judgment but today I think he left Bonderman in too long. That with the Tigers completely falling apart defensively in the 9th.

even though the tigers blew this game it was still a good series. minnesota is the best home team who is hot and to go into minnesota and take 2 of 3 is pretty good. bonderman pitched well, but i agree the tigers have a great bullpen so use it. didn't watch the last game so i don't recall who pitched, but i'm sure either rodney or zumya would've been available to pitch the 8th, then give it to jones.

umm it is a fact look at the standings. the yankees are ahead of the white sox. that title last year does you know good this year when you don't even qualify for the postseason

But you make it a point to make sure you let us know when the White Sox lose or when they are out of the playoffs. When the Tigers get a championship, which may never happen, then you have the right to talk shit. You might want to get concerned with Kenny Rogers last 5 outings though, and then the 6 run 8th inning today.

It isn't abnormal for a team to go on a losing streak or start to struggle, especially in baseball. What matters is how good your team is playing at the end of the year and going into the post season. If you paid attention, you would see that the White Sox struggled after the all-star break last year.
