FYI: You don't have to be a strikeout king to be affective. He does have a better ERA so I will give him that but Verlander's 2.69 ERA isn't anything to laugh at either. But Verlander wins games too and has also pitched more innings than Liriano this year.
Just to clarify, I'm not trying to claim Verlander is better than Liriano. I was merely stating that Liriano isn't much if at all better than Verlander either. I think they're both great young pitchers that could have great futures if they continue to progress.

I guess Texas is trying to get him before the deadline. I dont get that. They have an incrediable player in Young at Shortstop. Wonder how they would work that. Dam, that means if Tejada went there Texas in my mind would have one of the best line ups in the league.
