tigers win again. little shaky by verlander, but a win none the less.

detroit has 3 of the top 10 pitchers, and 4 of the top 20. if maroth wasn't injured he'd be in the top 20

Anybody hear anything about Bobby Jenks. If the radar gun WGN uses is in tune, Jenks is throwing about 10 mph slower than he normally does. But maybe part of that is because he pitched last night. Still though, his fastest pitch tonight was 88 mph.

before the white sox won the title, it was mostly cubs on wgn, now they play the white sox now. what a bandwaggon city

They've always broadcasted White Sox games, just not very many of them. It still holds true this year. Even when the Sox were playing the Cards and Tigers they didn't broadcast the games to my knowledge. I remember going to WGN a few weeks ago to catch the Sox and Tigers and they had the Cubs and Reds FTL.

White sox have all 5 starters in the top 40.

Todd Jones... 1-5 19 SV 6.75 ERA FTL. If the Tigers plan on competing in the playoffs Jones has to pitch better or the Tigers need to find a closer. A lot of close games in the playoffs.

actually for your info...comcast chicago is the number one station that the whitesox play on, and after that its fox sports chicago...so I dunno what your talking about...

Second..whoever said Jenks top pitch tonight was 88....I dunno what your talkin about...I was at the game tonight...he threw 97, so uhhhhh....must have been something wrong with the broadcast or somethin..?? but that doesnt even make sence to me.
