It all depends on the size of the market. Small market teams won't get as many votes unless they are a real well known name. If Magglio played for the Yankees or Red Sox, he'd be in the top 5.

detroit is a pretty big market, they just don't get the national media cause of all of the bad years. hell its gotten so bad here people don't believe me when i say the tigers are in first place

I couldn't believe that shit. We have two huge offensive outbreaks the past 2 games, and then put the bats away. Usually that's how it is against pitchers nobody has really seen. Either they get lit up, or they pitch very well. His only mistake was to our biggest offseason pickup.

Detroit gets more media coverage then the Mets, and the mets are in a market 5 times bigger. Everytime I turn on espn or baseball tonight, it's always detroit, I bet there gettin more coverage then the yankee's and redsox this year.

I'll admit the Mets may not be covered that much but NO way in hell would I say the Tigers are being covered more than the Red Sox and the Yankees. Hell, the White Sox get more media coverage than MOST teams.
