if he was batting in front of a-rod, giambi, etc. he would have better numbers. it's not a theory. it's common baseball lol. idk why you don't understand this. why do you think david ortiz is so productive? why do you think boston got jd drew to bat behind manny?

the same experts that predicted the yankees to sweep the tigers? the same experts who said and i quote "the tigers don't deserve to be on the same field as the yankees" (this analyst was correct however as the tigers deserved better then the yankees)

All I am saying then just get rid of high paid players like Alex Rodriguez. If you have a couple other good bats, then get some cheeseball like Mark Tehan and save yourself money. He would put up some amazing numbers.

Also it is just a theory. You nor I know how he would perform. There have been plenty of players in history that had off seasons with other good players on thier teams. Take Justin Morneau for example. Had an amazing year this year. Year before wasnt anything special. Pretty much same people besides Luis Castillo.

morneau is young and up and coming player. i cannot believe you never heard of the concept of protection in lineups. why do you think barry bonds got walked so much? cause moises alou did not fear anybody. had say pujols batted behind bonds, then bonds would get more pitches to hit. look at the world series. the tigers pitched around pujols cause they did not fear rolen or edmonds.
