i would've signed dave roberts who put up better numbers then pierre and would be much cheaper and could sign to a shorter deal

Dave Roberts has already been with the Dodgers and he wasn't happy there. You can spout off all the stats you want about Pierre but that doesn't mean he can't contribute.

In case you didn't know, the Dodgers have money. They're right toward the top of the league in attendance every year. They fill the seats.

just because they have money doesn't mean they should be foolish with it. i really am shocked with how much pierre got, he's one knee injury away from being a bust. other guys like magglio for example, go endure a leg injury cause there main element isn't speed, you take speed away from pierre and you got nothing

If they wish to be foolish they can, its their money. I don't quite understand why you have such a problem with this signing. They had some left over when Drew decided to opt out of his contract. As far as taking away speed and having nothing: I think you can say that about a bunch of players in MLB.
