Yeah, true but what I am saying is they always seem to shine when there at Cleveland and then they trade them away.if the owner doesn't allow them to spend, nothing management can do. i mean they did scout that talent and did make the trade for hafner
Derek Jeter is an allstar how many times over? Gullien always gets hurt to boot. Then he is not as good as a hitter. I mean he does ok and I think he has better power, but overall I think as I am sure most would say Jeter is better.how come guillen doesn't get the attention at shortstop that jeter gets? look at guillen's numbers in detroit during his 2 full seasons, and compare them with jeter and he is at the same level as jeter
compare the numbers in a full guillen season in detroit, to derek jeter and they are very similar //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifDerek Jeter is an allstar how many times over? 2 seasons and he was having a good season last year untill he was injured. i'm saying he puts up the same numbers jeter does, and jeter was a star from the begining so why doesn't guillen get the same recognition?Well if your going on 1 good season to 1 good season, then I guess your right, but over the years there is no comparison hence the reason why gullien is left out of the lime light.
jeter is also having a career year. jeter avaerages 18 home runs and 88 rbi's. guillen has averaged 19 home runs and 80 some rbi's in his 2 full seasons in detroit. guillen's batting average is about 315, jeter's is about the same. guillen has averaged around a 388 obp, same as jeter, guillen has averaged around 500 slugging percentage, jeter has averaged a 400+ slugging percentage.Well I dont get what you are saying really. Looking at their stats I really see nothing to compare how they are similar. I mean Gulliens most games in a year has been this year and granted he is having an awesome season, but still falls short some to Jeter's season besides homeruns. Besides that Jeter has led in all other categories. Also I retract my statement about him having more power, I think Jeter takes that one too. I mean this is probably one of Gulliens best years overall and Jeter leads him in everything except homeruns. On the defensive side Jeter has less errors but a few less ***. then him. So overall to me there isnt much of a similarity between the two.
