fu(k Bonds.
Pujols is a real hitter. He will eventually be the HR king.
I agree Pujols is on pace to do something really special.

I also agree that Barry Bonds always was and pretty much is an *******, especially toward the media. I saw some footage once of Bonds when he was in his 2nd or 3rd year in Pittsburgh and he was going out of his way to fuck with a reporter for the local news. You want to talk about cocky? That was Bonds. Ever since then he's grown into what you see today, add to that all the roids accusations (which I believe he was juicing) and you see the ******* we have in font of us. He's passing one of the best homerun hitters in the history of the game and NO ONE really wants to give him any props for it because of the legacy he has made for himself with his attitude. Its really a shame if you ask me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Back to Pujols, like I said he is "on pace" to do great things. However, records like that are not broken over night and alot of good things would have to happen for Pujols to do that. He has to stay pretty much healthy for a long time. He has to continue to be as productive as he is now, atleast 80% as productive as he is now. If he can do that and eventually move over to an American League team at the end of his career so he can DH and he just might break some records.

But to say HE WILL is a pretty bold statement when he has such a LONG way to go to do this. I think Pujols is a GOOD guy and I wouldn't mind seeing him do it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yes bonds is an *******, but there is a big reason for that. He grew up as a kid with a famous father and his godfather is one and only willie mays. That was a time when racism was at its height and bonds saw a lot of things towards his dad especially that he didn't particular like, particular the way the media treated his dad. thats probably one of the main reasons why he's an *** to the media. am i exusing him for the way he treats the media? no, but i'm just stating a reason why he doesn't treat the media very well.

as for being cocky, what major superstar athlete that isn't cocky? the good thing about bonds, there's really no beating around the bush (except for the steroid issues). bonds basically tells it how it is. its funny and this is one my favorite quotes from him. a reporter asked what is the difference between you and the normal joe schmoe? his reponse was, "Talent." That gave me a good laugh.

as for pujols, he does have a legit shot at the homerun record but as adam said already, its really really hard to stay that healthy for that long period of time and to also produce at a high level. even barry bonds said albert pujols won't get the record for the fact that if he keeps up how he is playing right now, the national league will just intentionally walk him constantly as the national league has continued to walk bonds.

How about them Tigers. Another big win today after an exta inning thriller win last night. Today they scored a run in the bottom of the 8th to win 1 - 0. The Tigers pitching staff now has 8 shutouts, the MOST in the Major Leagues.

This team really seems to have some character. I sure hope it continues.

I am thinking to myself. Why does it seem like this guy goes for the winners. I mean I know you have a life story about being a fan of the steelers as you told it before, I think. Anyway I am like what makes this guy a Tiger fan. Then seen your from Michigan. No wonder eh.

They are seeming very impressive. But............................thank god the season is 162 games in baseball. We will see how it all ends. Then and only then will I be like dam the really are turning shit around in the Big D. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

All I know Cleveland is finally winning after the 8 game skid. Woot for 4 in a row and going back to .500. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I'm really, REALLY supprised that we swept the Royals. We seem to be the only team that that piece of sh*t club can do anything against.

Hooray for being .500 again! Great last game against the Pirates.

Yeah our offense is there for sure, but starting to look a little shakey as of late. Victor is really struggling as of late. So oh no!

Our pitching better get its shit together or else be prepared for a long a-s-s season of moaning and groaning. I am used to it anymore.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Sh*t, so am I. I remember the good ol' days when we had Lofton, Thome, and the rook Ramirez...

I hope Mark Shapiro has a **** good plan. It's looking much better than it was a couple years ago, though, so maybe things are on the up and up. We'll see.

if it wasnt for those **** yankees the indians would have been winning world series left and right in the 90's, they had vizquel and alomar turning double plays and a shatload of great hitters, and dave burba, he was the shiat

lmao at Dave Burba. That guy was a joke show. But leave it to the Indians to give away a lot of good talent. They will make a superstar and then trade him away. They are famous for it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Oh my god, Burba was a madman. Omar and Sandy definately made some magic in the infield. Ahhh... those were the days.

NOPE!!!.....NO bandwagoner here. Yes, I've liked the Steelers my whole life. Never liked the Lions since that oraganization doesn't have the desire to win. But you'll never see me routing against them unless they're playing the Steelers. I like the Tigers becuase they're the home team. My ALL TIME favorite Baseball team is the Dodgers but it's hard to watch or keep up with them and its easier to keep up with the Tigers so I have MUCH love for them. The Pistons and the Red Wings are also favorites of mine but I used to be a big Celtics fan when Larry was still playing.
