For all you know Ramirez could be hitting Robertson very well. Baltimore walked him the other day and Ortiz wasn't in the lineup, b/c he was 9-11 against the pitcher they had in. Managers play numbers a lot of times. You don't want to see Ramirez hit a HR and get the crowd into the game, and you don't expect Youkilis to hit one so you pitch to him.

but look at the situation. up 4 runs, no runner on base, challenge ramirez.

He hits a HR and you're only up 3. It doesn't matter. 4 Runs against the Red Sox is nothing. You play it safe, especially when you have lost 5 in a row. How many outs when they walked him?

not intential but he didn't pitch close to the strike zone. one of those lets see if he'll chase something

And the Giants just beat (barely) the Padres 1 - 0. Benitez made the save VERY interesting.

Man, I havent been staying with baseball as of late. I see the Indians are on a 6 game winning streak. WTF!!!!
