actually minnesota skipped baker's start and pitched santana up in minnesota. they juggled their rotation. leyland just gave verlander a day off, the rotation is still the same, if verlander would've pitched that day, he would've still been scheduled to pitch in this series, and it's better to rest a pithcer when facing a below 500 team then an above 500 team

I have mentioned about me likeing the Padres. I said a few times that I think they would take there division, however looks like the whole slew of teams have a shot in that one.

they didn't move liriano's start. he would've pitched that day regardless, cause his spot was up in the rotation

uh yea when they juggled the rotation but it involved santana not liriano

shows you how much respect minnesota has for detroit. they re-arranged their rotation to have their best 3 pitchers going against detroit. if it wasn't for a fluke 8th inning, detroit would've swept the series.

and what I'm saying is they didn't juggle there rotation. They skipped Liriano's start because he was/is having arm problems. What I'm getting at is your conspiracy theories. Nobody is afraid of the Tigers. They are expected to win the Central. The question is, can you rely on rookies in the post season? To be determined. We all know the story behind Rick Ankiel.
