What happened?
bonds hit a game tying home run in the 9th. funny how all the "experts" say pitch to him especially since he's hurt everywhere. But eventually bonds will get back in the groove and lately, he's slowly getting into his groove.

You see, slammed, the Braves have a tradition that's been going strong for quite some time.

And no, it's not their everlasting Division Championship reign...

You see, this tradition starts at the beginning of every season. Every season, the Atlanta Braves like to sit back, and give the Metropolitans a slight glimmer of hope, whilst taking it easy and letting them coast to a small division lead. Usually, somewhere around the midpoint of the season, the Braves will actually start to play baseball, and eventually leave the Mets 10+ games back.

Hehe.

Afraid to say, this may be the year the streak ends for the Braves.

But, on a positive note, it's scary the amount of young talent they have in the majors.

They have 2 starters in the field over 30 (Chipper is 34, Renteria is 30).
