**The MLB Thread**

They swept Boston last year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

detroit beat miami last year and that sure as shit didn't help them. there is another example. chicago came up and made the playoffs out of nowhere and swept boston. detroit is doing the same thing so far this year

That's where you are wrong. Chicago has had a winning program for a number of years, where as detroit, well, you could bet on them losing 90 games a year for a number of years. Big Difference.

oh yea that playoff appearance where they lost to seattle in 2002 or whenever the hell it was really qualifies as winning program

dude, besides this slump they are in...which im sure they will get out of soon (KC) you should definitely still worry about us until we are far out of making the wild card...because we have beaten you 6 out of 9 games (or is it 7) and that IS this year. We played you last time while in this slump, and STILL almost took the series., definitely wasnt an easy series for you guys.

the first 3 games were at the begining of the year when detroit was still finding themselves. they are much better team now then they were then.

WTF are you talking about? We are in the playoffs, We are tied for the wild card lead. Even if we lose it tonight, we are still the better team over Minnesota and New York.

minnesota vs. chicago in a 1 game series, i'm putting my money on minnesota. santana, liriano, reyes, rincoln, and nathan available to pitch, chicago is done. that fact you can remain so cocky when your team has fallen out like this is astonishing

yea, but they arent today are they....why cant you guys go on another bad streak...it can happen ya know... You know what else is funny...this year, 1st half of the season, you guys against. WHITE SOX, RED SOX, YANKEES, has sucked! and you have split with MINN

and your last 9 games of the year are freebies

Yeah, I don't see any 90 loss seasons in there. Now why don't you go ahead and post the Tigers records. 5 winning seasons in a row.
