you guys are like us last year....excellent pitching...pretty good offense, seriously like a mirror image...

I came home expecting the sox to post up a win, and I log on to ESPN and see 10-3. ****ing disappointed. Ozzie Guillen needs to have a meeting and go ballistic. They are 2-8 in there last 10.

i figured they would get this one. it doesn't get easier after texas so they needed to pick up these wins. lucky for you new york lost or else you'd have a 1.5 game lead in the wild card

I think his pitching decisions lately have been really poor to.. I saw today....Texas almost let up some runs in the 4th....they pulled their starter...We would NEVER have done that. There are so many times lately that Ozzie leaves his pitchers in to try and work themselves out of a jam...but its been going wrong every time lately.. not good, not good. Im not going to worry to much yet

if you don't have a good bullpen it's hard to pull your starters. he's gonna wear out his bullpen. he needs more quality innings from his starters. detroit on the other hand, has a deep bullpen and will only get deeper when maroth returns

nope. detroit 134 vs. chicago's 93 and that doesn't include today's 10-3 loss. detroit is 8th in the majors in runs scored, so they aren't terrible offensivly

Like I said, not much of a difference.

verlander had a solid game. got behind some hitters but got a quality start. verlander could very well be a cy young candidate. 2nd in the league in era, and tied for first in wins. liriano is also another candidate.
