Well, this weekend a unique mechanical member of the Caraudio.com forum died.

LoudCrownVic, a 1994 Ford Crown Victoria, with 155,345 was parked for lack of adequate power and gas mileage. (Bad coil packs, weak valvesprings, loose timing chain, leaking oil, straight pipes rusted out so it sounds like a busted *** Cavalier)

By the end of it's life it was graced with many different audio/mayhem creating devices, and much fun was had pissing off ricer-boys with neutral revs at stoplights. But the memories will go on, even though the Vic has stopped.

It carried me to school 70 miles round trip for two years, and despite the enourmous cost of gas and the K&N oil filters I bought for it like a retard, it was a good car.

Whether or not I'll truly miss it will just have to depend on how long my Mexican beaner wagon i bought cheap will last...

so the vick is still drivable just needs alot of work. Sounds like my ranger '88 almost no fenders left, leakes oil wich runs on to exhust smokes and smells bad, cadillac converter is toast and we have to pry the hood off(latch don't work) every 1,000 miles to add oil. fun to drive though been to hell and back, well hell michigan on a trip any way. Speaking of that, if you wan't a unique trip, go to hell, MI around Hallowen. cars and trucks like these are the greats too, they don't die they get forced into retierment. hopefully you can get yours up and running again. I will miss the ranger when it dies, that is why I am taking classes a matc so I can fix it up.

Well, it's not shitty, nessecarilly, but i did use about 1/2 a tank of gas to drive 64 miles. Thats 8 miles to the gallon!!! The oil leak only shows up when my leak stopper shyte from Advance Auto Parts wears off. It does still look good. No rust at all. Just palces where the paint came off and places it rubbed off from backing over a mailbox.

eh...I get 14 MPG. I think I need a tuneup, but I'm too lazy to get one. (first car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

i live in pinckney, what did you think of the area??

sorry about your crownvic, sounds like a great vehicle. got any pics of it?? i myself have a 95-tbird great car, uses oil like gas... sometimes i checked for oil and the dipstick was dry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/waycrazy.gif.f4a380c3f94043939fd369defd9e6be2.gif . got in a accident with it. hit an older olds (POS) and at 15 mph i blasted him. folded his bumper in and he hit the car in front of him pretty good. my car did get f'ed up but i drove away from the accident. thing is a tank. yours had the 4.6l right? or was it a 5.0?? i got the 281 in mine. im sure you can fix your car easily but cash is king. imo i dont think its time for your car to go 150k isnt too bad just keep the maintence up on it sounds like ya did. fix those things and i bet that engine lasts another 60k.

Tru... Try using a leak stopper. It's more than likely your valve cover gaskets leaking (such was my problem and still is) Don't bother replacing them, as it lasts acouple months then they leak again. Yea, the Crown ins a tank too- this one chick slammed into my rear talking on her cell phone and her Sunfire got toatled by the insurance co. LOL!

geussin' u mean the trip to Hell(man I love that name).

Well It was nice more poplulated than when I live but still not your New York, L.A., crazy traffic and population. Nice people, lots of out of towners for halloween. Nice drive. Not the repetitive corn fields of Illinios. Was not their very long. Started when me and friends joked about going, I said I would drive and who were they to turn down a free ride. Not sure were Pinckney is, did I drive trough it to get hell or is it near by or is it the county??????? not in the next 2 years but if you are still there when I am done with school I would be willing to take a trip again.
