The importance of RCA quality?

I have some basic Monster Cable, shielded, twisted wire RCA cables currently. They look good, but I am doing a new install. Is it really worth it to get some super duper high quality RCAs? Or as long as they are shielded, twisted, and routed properly, should it not matter?

As long as they aren't some shit included with basic stereo or VCR's, you're fine. Improper grounds, improperly set gains, and stupid tuning will create far more noise than "less than uber" cables. You're fine.

As long as they aren't picking up noise, they don't really matter any.

Some people like shielding for noise rejection, some don't.

Some peope like UTP (unshielded twisted pair) for noise rejection, some don't.

As long as they're quiet, it doesn't really matter.
