And the messed up part is that this guy will probably get 6 months to a year in a mental facility, while this girls life is changed forever. If she winds up with the virus, it will affect her health, the chance for having healthy kids(if she wanted children), etc...
It's sad when criminals have more proctection/rights then the victims.

The more I think about this shit the more it turns my stomach.

It isn't like the courts can make her not HIV positive...but they should shoot the guy before he has the chance to infect others. This is one of the very few instances where I advocate the death penalty.
