Dude..
Little history of my M. Night experiences:
Sixth Sense - Great movie.
Unbreakable - Terrible.
Signs - Amazing.
Village - NO.
Lady in the Water - I thought it was great.
The Happening - Not an M. Night movie. No way in hell he would put his name on this movi--O WAIT! He WAS dumb enough to tell people he made this movie.. at the opening and after the last scene it said "An M. Night Shyamalan movie"
Review: This was the worst movie ever made. We (me, my g/f and some buddies) even spoofed the film in the parking lot after we walked out lol.. it was absolutely terrible. Marky Mark--terrible. John Leguizamo--terrible. I expected much much much much much much much more from these two.. this whole thing was terrible.
SPOILERS COMING DONT READ UNTIL THE NEXT SECTION OF CAPITALIZED, BOLD TEXT LIKE THIS IF YOU DONT WANT IT RUINED!!!!!!!
Plants. I mean really. Come on. Terrible. Apparently they are smarter than us and tell US when we become the threat to the environment. Plants taking over the world? Come on.
SPOILERS THROUGH YOU CAN CONTINUE READING AND NOT HAVE IT RUINED NOW!!
I MADE my parents go see it (we were all super excited bout seeing it when we saw the previews) just so they could understand what I meant by it being horrible. Because words don't describe it. My mom sent me a text after it was over saying "pretty stupid!" and my dad called and said "I'm going to come home and beat you for making me endure that" haha.. he kept on and on about how terrible it was, acting, story, and all.
It sucked save your money or go to see what all the negative fuss is about..
O, and "daniel.lindsey" ^^^^ said it was funny. He wasn't lying.. I do NOT laugh at horror/thriller/slasher/suspense movies because I like to enjoy the movie and I can't stand when people talk about how it was "funny" and try to act hard and laugh and ruin it for everyone else, but this LITERALLY was humorous, the whole theater was laughing at how SHITTY it was. Excuse the language. But if you've seen it you understand.
That movie was absolutely, unbelievably horrible.
