I don't think I've heard about this one... where did you get it?I know how ya feel. My sundown did that to me, didnt even get to gere the subs![]()
well man, im goign in your footsteps now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifI'm just wondering how many more times this has to happen before the manufacturer stands up and takes ownership for an obvious defect in this line of amplifier??? This is at least the 6th or 7th time I have seen a XX-Goliath cook itself at little or no volume. Maxxsonics needs to seriously take a closer look at this $1900 paperweight.
I apologize if any Maxxsonics personnel read this, but this problem has occurred one too many times and to multiple people.
Those were my thoughts as well...Just because the amp failed at low volume doesn't mean it was a total amp defect.stay away from the HK's unless you want the same thing to happen....im guessing you had a low voltage instance at some point in that amp's life and the power supply FET's finally just failed.still sucks. Ive done this to TWO z1's before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ... but thats another thread.
