The End of the Aftermarket Head Unit

My car is over 200k miles and is at the point where every month something has to be fixed on it, so I'm in the market for a new(er) car...something nice. When I got the car I have now I was a lot younger and my pockets were much smaller as well, but thankfully I can get something nice ( leather/ sunroof/ fog lights) , and of course a nice system...

However upon doing some research, many of the cars today have all inclusive head units that control EVERYTHING....no possible way of putting in a nice double din....

I think this is the end of the head unit market as we know it.

Sure you can use converters and tap into the factory wires, but it's just not the same as having a strong head unit to build a system from.

It's a sad time [emoji17]

I just bought a new challenger rt and there are some functions i will lose if i remove it; not even sure if there is a dash kit or wiring harness available for it.

Every car I bought I make sure before I buy if it has a dash kit. I have turned down crazy deals because of that reason. Haha. And were buying a new house and I'm turning down houses because the living room would **** for surround sound
