You ever used cleaning products under the hood?? Sounds like you could have a MAF going out.

what is a MAF? sorry guys, im really not familiar at all with all this termonology. Im searching the net right now for possible problems and solutions. But also, I feel like i wasted my money taking it in, and it is still idling low, then they say they fixed it again and its STILL idling low, what is it supposed to normally idle at?
My 5.2 idles at around 600 or so, but always has.

is it still stalling when you hit the breaks? i've seen a couple of cars that have torque converter locks on them that lock the converter when at speed to help your mpg. the cars would kinda idle low, and when they would stop at a light it would stay locked and kill then motor. i don't know if jeeps have that or not. the last time i've heard of that happening was back in auto tech some time ago.

Well, it seems to be running fine, although I still think its idling low, but it feels fine, maybe I am just being paranoid about it. I really never noticed the RPM's before it started messing up, so it could be acting normal, my dad is going to take it out soon and see what he thanks.

my brothers 4.0 wrangler was doing that. its a 99. was some sort of computer problem and easy to fix as we just had to go to the junkyard and rip a new computer out.

It's not stalling anymore, only problem, and like i said this might be normal, when I come to a complete stop at a light, it idles right about the zero, it looks to be at 300rpm's.
B4, if I was not giving it gas, it would complete run down, sometimes to zero and stall, sometimes right above zero and just be barely running, even if I was going fast, I constantly had to give it gas. Thats not a problem anymore, so I guess they did fix it, I just have a problem trusting them, bc who knows what they actually do and then they charge u up the ***.
