These should be fine. CDT tweeters are garbage until you get in the higher end ones, which are just inexpensive Vifas re badged as CDT.
In my experience, the only things good that CDT ever had were the high end components and the SQ amps made by Zed.

OP, where in NY are you?

Yea I have the ES6.5 comps in my subaru with the cdt 5.25 coaxials and they sound very good but of course this setup is amped. I was just looking for something to replace oem stuff since i'm gonna have all the panels off for deadening.

I was thinking of grabbing these for rear fill in my car. Just powered off the deck. I dont really wanna spend much money on rearfill. I already got iD cxs64's in the front

btw.. are these prices per pair or for each speaker?

I have the cheaper ones... got them for $9 each at the PE tent sale...

They do their job, great sound for the price. Really just great factory replacement speakers.

Mine are used for rear fill. Used them off the HU for a few days, now they're receiving 40watts per via a small 4channel. I couldn't really ask for more out of them.

Thanks ^^ Finally some input on those.

Would u still suggest I buy em if they're gonna end up costing me ~$50 cuz its $15 per speaker, so $30 for a pair, then maybe like $20 for shipping

or am I better off just looking for some used Coaxes here?
