nope you just tell them to **** off... and they can't just call it up... this isn't consumer debt... when the bonds come due the treasury debt sells new ones to pay the principal on the old ones... we've been doing it since the country started... our "national debt" is the cumulative debt since the beginning of it all... and if we don't want to pay someone back we don't have to.... of course all would go to hell if we told them to shove it but short of war and never buying our bonds again there is nothing that could be done...

Student loan rates just went from 4.7% to 6.8% because the president approved cuts to the incentive programs for banks to provide low rate loans for college kids. Hmm, that doesn't matter though huh, cause your broke *** still gets school paid for. It's only ya know, the MAJORITY that is the middle class, that gets screwed...no big deal, right?

I come from an upper class family who won't pay for my school because I won't go to their church... so I lived like a poor man while going to school, then worked 50hours a week while going to school, then took a year off... when I turned 23 I "became poor" in the eyes of the governement... I'm white to boot... if I can do it anyone can do it... so quit your *****ing, this country is so loaded with opportunity that people walk across desert to live here illegally and work their ***** off at shitty jobs getting underpaid because it's better than where they came from... so don't give me this middle class gets screwed bullshit... quit your ****ing *****ing and make something of yourself... that's what I'm doing

well I hope they do! Energy is the blood of industrialized nations... and if we topple someone elses oppressive government, give them democracy (which YES is a good thing) and we get some energy security out of it I say go for it... we're going to rebuild the hell out of their country in the process to boot... look how japan and germany benefitted from our intervention... with any luck the iraqi's will reap the same benefits...

Thank god for someone intelligent! We will never pay off the national debt, we will never have too, it would compltely **** up the entire balance of the whole worlds economy. No country's are gonna call in all the loans/bonds..plus half of them oh us money back. The national debt has always been huge...although i think its grown a lot lately. I can't believe how many people believe this 9/11 bs though. I kinda understand how all the bs about kennedy got started too now with as many crazy/half stupid people as there are it makes sense. You might have had 10 pages of evidence suggesting that 9/11 was staged but i'm sure theres several million pages outhere negating it in every way and completly proving what really happened (terrorists).

As for the debt issue...we are constantly paying off our debts...it's a cycle...we pay off expiring loans with new ones...other countries love loaning us money...because it's guaranteed profit.
