Media Defender is a company that trys to protect copyrighted content from spreading on p2p networks. Possibly the biggest spreader of bogus files in an effort to track individuals who have connected to them. Someone has released a ton of internal emails no doubt containing valuable information on their tactics/websites/hosts etc making them much less effective to those in the know.

Does that make more sense to you?
