Reach your hand down there and add a new one. The pics in the thread were on my 98 EX Coupe. It's a ***** but totally possible.

my brother has a 98 civic ex...its a group 51 battery i believe..lots of room near battery near firewall in back left corner....its a 4 banger..should be lots of room..just get your hands dirty

on the alternator, look for a red rubber boot cap that covers the alternators positive post. on the bolt or surrounding area itself, their should be a red marking as well.

im talking about my "stereo". im running 1 15" xxx, 1 planet audio VX2200D, stock alt and bat. big 3 is done. all 1/0 wiring.

Ya man, sorry about the mix up, apperently I spent to much time in front of my computer today. Anyways the only thing thats gonna help you in this case is gonna be a HO altenator. You did the big 3 upgrade but it was like throwing a styrofome plate to a drowing man, it might float by itself but its still not gonna save the dude's life.

Really? I always asumed it was replace because of the sticky thread on it
