The best Amp to Run 2 Kicker L7 15'

The title says it all, I have a directed D2400, I looked the specs up and at 4ohm its going to run 400 RMS. This cant be enough for a speaker that runs 1000RMS. I could run it in a series to drop the ohm down to 2 right? then maybe i could push a little more power to them? ANYWAYS, what do you all think is the best possible AMP to run these speakers without any problems. I dont know if this makes a difference in the answer but they are going to be in a ported box.

im running a kicker zx1500.1 (i think it tested out at like 1750 watts) on my 15 L7's ported to like 34 i think 4 or 5 cubes each and it slams.

Are they dual 4 or 2 ohm subs? If there dual 2 then find a amp that puts out 1500 to 2000 watts at 2 ohms. If there dual 4 then find one thats 1 ohm stable with the same voltage

Yea they are at 4ohm, so i should find a amp that is 1 ohm stable?

yes since there dual 4 then run them at 1 ohm and find a amp thats one ohm stable at around 2000 watts and you will be set. If you look around in the for sale section you can usually find a few

I ran two with a AudioQue AQ2200. I love this amp.

And to run it at 1ohm i would need to Run the wiring in a series on the speaker correct?
