I used to smoke marijuana heavily, but then priorities shifted. Keeping a job to pay my mortgage is way more important so I don't partake in such activities anymore. I simply leave the room. I have no problems with those that choose to do it, nor do I feel the need to incessantly tell them how stupid they are like many goody 2 shoes around here.

If thats what gets them by in life then so be it. I have found other things to get me by in life. Sometimes I think there are a few people who use badgering people about there drug habits as a way for THEM to get by in life. It makes them feel better about themselves when they point out they don't do it and state those that do are stupid.

All in all I will agree with statements that their are much better things in life than doing drugs, hence the reason for my staying away from pot. However if pot were a legal and regulated substance like alcohol, then I would more than likely occasionally do it. Just like alcohol. I have no problems in controlling what/when i do things. I don't abuse alcohol and rarely drink any during the week. Weekends I will tend to have some beer in the fridge though.

I don't get why people feel the need to belittle those that do though. Let them be.

I quit all the BS when I turned 25-26 or so,and I dont miss it one bit

The quicker you as a person can get past the wastedness the quicker you

really can begin living a true life instead of a blurred one

I do enjoy a few Scotch's weekly though . . . .

I was a pothead from the summer after my senior year of HS through the summer of my freshman year of college. I decided to stop, so I smoked up one huge blunt the day before I went back to school for my sophomore year w/my best friend, and haven't touched it since.

But I've been around people who use drugs.. I made a comment on the E thread that I lived w/a chick that used to do half a bottle of x a day. She did coke and other stuff... I've seen lots of people do coke. Definately something I wouldn't want to do.

Given the place I live in tho.. shrooms and especially meth run RAMPID (we have a city called Mattoon around here but everyone calls it "Methtoon"... for obvious reasons). Still.. I throw back to my pot days, and the whole reason I stopped using is because I didn't like the people I was around.. how dirty I felt (not ethically.. but come on.. you're smoking resin.. it's like.. gooey ash refuse... wtf is that?) and a lot of other reasons.

Im anti drugs, except weed, how is it even a drug. I smoke it like once every 2 months and its waay less ****ed up than when I drink. Other drugs I dont agree with.

I dont smoke nor have I of any sort (weed, or cigs) Never tried it.

I do drink like its my job and do take vikadin (spelling?) once in a while just for kicks. But I wont doE or herion or crack or coke or w.e you want to call it.

I have better things to do with my life... besides kill it.

Inhalling anything besides air isnt good for you or your lungs. Would you walk into a burning building and just start breathing in that fresh BURNT air?? Not trying to sound like i care but I just want people to think about that aspect of it.

I dont do anything, but whatever. I use to smoke weed, when i was younger and probably why my short term memory is so bad today. I dont have a problem with potheads as long as they dont drive while high. I dont have any love for cokeheads, crack addicts, or herion addicts or anything like that though because that shit causes people to do things they wouldnt normally do, like ***** themselves or steal, rob, etc.

Thats true of coarse, but in my case smoking it every once in a while doesnt come close to being as bad for me as what the amount of..

a) fast food I would eat in that time

b) Beer I would consume
