I was surprised at how beefy the motors were...they're about 8" in diameter and there's a little "18W6" printed on the back plate. Overall weight is about 35lbs per sub.

Sweet! I wish I would have jumped on these for my HT, I saw the thread but stopped following it. Did anyone get emails stating that their transaction didnt go through due to being sold out?

I haven't heard of that yet. I think if you ordered and paid in time, before they took them down, then I think they're honoring that deal.

Sweet dude!

I'm awaiting the arrival of mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I opted for two, I'll be doing some HT stuff with them. Oh the possibilities... Ryan, can you design some killer HT enclosures as well? I think I may be giving you a yell soon once these suckers are in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'll probably do some experimenting myself with a few designs, but I'd love to see what you could do.

Nice Ryan. I remember when they were originally launched by JL. Great subs and they always sounded amazing in just about any setup. (I had a few back in the day) Credence was the build house for them and some other old school subs like the Soundstream Exact and SPL series subs.

If I remember right Credence makes their own version of this and sell it as well.(as they do with many other products they created)

Yep, they had their hand in a lot of the old school stuff. They did Kicker's old stuff, including the original round Solobaric, and old Lanzar stuff as well.

These things can really get low/loud in a ported box, if you want to go that route for HT. Since they are D6, I opted to do three sealed instead so I can get a 1ohm load...although for the time being I will probably series/parallel them for a 4ohm load and run my old school Alpine MRV-1507 on them, bridged.

Fvck the subs I want the beer

I want the subs too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
You could have the beer...if it wasn't in my stomach now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif
