No, the point is superglue is rigid...and cracks easily. The goop is somewhat elastomeric...it's like a flexible contact glue adhesive. Goop even says on the box "won't crack like super glue" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
