Thank you man for the box plan thread. I built a 3.5cf tuned to 33Hz originally for my SPL160 but I blew it before I had a chance to hook it up. This morning I grabed my Sounstream EG15-X that I have for sale on ebay and decided to see what the box can do. ****! What a difference! So I drove up to get it metered for shits and giggles and the TL read 138.5! All because of your box and a 300 watt Soundstream Rubicon 302 amplifier. Who new a right box and only 300 real true watts would do here. No cheater amp either. Oh this was in the trunk of a Monte Carlo. **** now I don't want to sell my sub

Hell Yeah. The funny thing is Soundstream doesn't reccomend going ported with the EG15-X. Go figure. They probably new it may be as good as the TR-4. Yeap, my manual says recomened enclosure: sealed. Screw that shit. Hell, it even sounded good doing it if I hold my rear veiw mirror in place. My 2 10's are in one of moe's box designs. Haven't had it metered, but on 40hz it's pretty **** loud. It's the first system that I could feel the bass pushing in on my chest.

as opposed to the 140+- you were hitting with 2500 watts? LOL. btw that amp was great I hit 151.3 on that 12" sonic before I sold it. not bad for a single 12 in a trunk setup on stock electrical.

Well I just found a song from nine inch nails. It's the double disk one with with star fuckers inc. Well the second song after star fuckers inc fucking slams. Hopefully I'll see if I can get it metered tomorrow with that song. I noticed new shit vibrating playing that song.

When most people want output they just add more power or change subs.Maybe even add extra subs.They never think about just focusing a little more on the box to get the same amount of extra output.
