I never understood the stages.

Is the higher the stage the better, or lower the stage? And is it like a set definition for each car / model or what not? Or just as per company?

I had an Acura cl 2.2 pretty much the exact same car as this. It took me and 3 other guys about 12 hours to do the clutch fyi. Put the same flywheel in as you, and a stage 1 exedy clutch. There are some diy sheets around that you can download to help you also.
