Texas Holdem.

I rite, here it is. need some clearifying. we were playing poker at the family christmas party. someone wanted to play texas holdem. well there was an argument about how it gets dealt out.

person one says this. you deal out the 2 cards to each player, then bet. now you flip up 3 cards, bet. then flip up another card, bet. another and final card and bet. hands over.

person two says this. you deal out the 2 cards to each player, then bet. now you discard three cards to a burn pile then three up, and bet. now discard another card to the burn pile and then one up, and bet. finally you again discard one to the burn pile and then one up, then the final betting.

how do you play? this was a comical arguement.
