Texas guys.

The North Texas Municipal Water District has officially discontinued all drought stages. The City of Garland is no longer operating under its Drought Contingency Plan.

Although drought-related water use restrictions are no longer in effect, the City will continue to enforce its Water Conservation Ordinance. Key points of that plan include: No outdoor irrigation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Newly-installed irrigations systems must be equipped with rain and freeze sensors Restaurants can only serve water upon request

+1 for you caring, I work at a TV station and have all kinds of weather, rain, flood info.

NWS also states that for most of south and east Texas, ranfall as little as 1 inch will now cause flash flooding...we're saturated.

ya my parents were supposed to go see family in south texas this weekend, but 59, one of the major highways down there is underwater in a few places, and a mile from my grandparents house there are houses underwater...

there was a sign on 183 last week that said "Don't Drown Turn Around"...big flood

It beats the 100+ degree heat and severe drought that we normally have during the summer. But I realize that isn't the case for all of the people that have suffered a loss because of the flooding. Enough is enough.

its pouring again, and it looks like its not going to stop raining at all today, im sure weve had an inch/inch and a half of rain since ive been up today.
