Makes things happen
Up untill, remote start season of last year 10/07 i used a fluke 111 to test wires. I purchased a power probe 3, and have yet to look back. Has all the features that i love, so far has been pretty safe. Any one else use this and how long has it lasted you so far?

i have only used a dmm. when i was doing my dads deville with a buddy he was using a probe that could reverse the polarity and shit, and when he would test one ignition wire the car would start when he would throw negative on it.

Some of the newer GMs and Dodges have 2 ignition wires, and they start when they see negative on one of them.

And please tell me the PP3 is smaller than it looks in pictures. It looks bad ***, but it wouldn't be easy to test wires with a brick, attached to a metal spike.

There was a long discussion on directech's forum about how bad those power probes can be...
I read that but no one really attacked the pp3, It has its own breaker, Takes 12v-ground. It is an amazing tool, i would tell anyone to try it.

About how bulky it looks, i would'nt say its huge but it is still comfy if i can't fit it somewhere i attach an ez hook to it and make it work that way, the led lights are real nice when physical. I'll take some pics tommorow maybe.
