Terminal Cups Rattling?

Hey everyone, i've got some RF 10" p2's in a sealed box that are fairly new, and i love them! Now i'm getting to the point where i'm trying to get rid of as much rattling as i can, but there is one spot that i can't seem to figure out.

I've isolated the rattling and it seems to be coming from the terminal cups. My first thought was that the wires inside were rattling against the walls of the box, so I took the subs out and duct taped the wires to the inside of the box. After putting the subs back in I was very dissapointed to hear the rattling still there. So i'm assuming it must be the terminal cups? I tried tightening all the screws and they are solid.

Does anyone have any tips or know what i can do to fix this problem? The noise is very frustrating and can be heard at all volumes.

Take the cups off and put some caulking/sealer anywhere it touches the box, also you can freshen up the seals in the whole box.

Yes they seem to be, ill try to see if i can tighten them any. I'll take off the 2 cups and try putting a sealer all the way around the ring that they fit into, hopefully that helps.

This is my very first system and im a noob at all this, so i was maybe worried that these were just very cheap or something. If i had to replace them or just take them off that would be a huge dissapointment. Theres no way i would want to pay to have a whole new box made!

You could always seal the holes for the terminal cups and just run the wires to a bolt through the box or just the wires straight through

Some terminals rattle, they just do. *shrug*

Replacing terminal cups does not mean rebuilding the entire enclosure.

You may want to try posting in the enclosure building forum asking for advice on exactly which terminals to get. You should just replace them.
