What do you guys think. JL12W7. Sealed Box built to JL specs. Going in a boat. Powered by a Kicker 750.1. Terminal cup or no? If I don't then just going to pull the wires out, and seal up the holes. I've heard mixed opinions about air escaping out of the terminal cups.

id say no cups just drill the holes and seal them up i tryd the cups before and i felt air escaping throught it and they burn and melt easy with high wattage set ups.

skip the cup. just run the wire through the box and seal it up. thats how i did it on my current set up and im glad i went this way.

I always use cups. Clean and easy. You just have to seal them up. Caulk the cup or the hole, then stick it in. I usually strip caulk it on the inside once it's in as well.
