actually...the templates are copyrighted material owned by the state that they are issued by...it is illegal to download a template. Don't ask me how i know this but lets say that people have been prosecuted for this in the past. Same thing goes for passports and social security card templates

thats like downloading music and not listening to it...its still illegal

not necessarily. people can make templates that resemble a drivers licence. i dont think u know what your talking about

Personally I wouldn't download one, as it's just stupid, if you dont have 10k work of equipment your "fake id" isnt going to pass a one eyed 90yr old rent-a-cop.

But you pose a interesting point, if the template is owned by the state and the state is owned by the people then wouldn't the id be owned by the people of that state?

not necessarily. people can make templates that resemble a drivers licence. i dont think u know what your talking about

resembling and being a template are 2 different things...an exact image of a drivers license is illegal to download...feel free to download thousands of them.
