Tell me your opinion on the Memphis MSQ6s

Just curious what you guys think of the Memphis Audio MSQ6s. What their comparable to? How much power you guys think they should be run at? How clear they are? How loud they are? ETC. Would you buy them?? and why or why not?

If they are anything like the Memphis amps i would go for it, i had a tiny memphis amp for bass sometime ago and it was pushing the subs so dam hard i was in shock.

I have the MSync 6's...currently on 120W per side.

The specs are not complete as far as i saw and i was only a pic of a mid no pics of the x overs or tweets. Again i know that Memphis amps rock but for some reason i am not impressed with what i saw on that link to the comps. i would look at other brands that are known for making nice comps.

And I would completely disagree. Memphis is known for making great comps, even if it's not known to you. Been used in...mmm....30+ sound quality world championship cars I believe.

What specs are you looking for? If you click "more details", more details about the speakers (hence the name) are made available to you, including the T/S for the mids. Though nothing on the website is going to give you any idea about the sonic characteristics of the speakers...just the same as any other speaker or manufacturer out there. You need A LOT more than T/S parameters and a FR graph (which Memphis does not include, not that it matters) to even begin to attempt to characterize a speaker's sound on paper. And even then, nothing beats a good ole' fashion listen.

The Memphis Syncs, which I've heard and own, sound great. From a reliable source I've heard the MSQ's sound a little better.....so yeah, I'd say go with the Memphis.

Awesome, thanks for your input. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Sounds like a great component set especially for SQ. Also, do you think they will sounds good with 75watts RMS from a memphis M-class amp? Anybody else have them or have listened to them??
