i see the logic and can agree, i have ripped apart a few boxes i made for trash and ur rite, the glue (i use tightbond 2) did a very good job of holding things together considering the mdf had to be ripped in pieces. guess i just like the extra security since i had a prefab box in the past that had a side blow out cuz it was just glued. then again who knows what kind of glue was used on it.

It's great the carpet is perfect, double baffle, box is solid and cheaper than most builders on here

Actually, Elmers does make some sort of strong ass glue..
