alright i'm getting everything together for my next system, i'm going to be running 2 18" RD alpha v1's in 4.8 cubes a peice off a aq2200 at .5 ohms my electrical will be all 1/0 gauge with a redtop up front and 2 kinetik 1400s in the rear..should that be enough power to run the aq at .5 ohms?

the 18"s are dual 2's so its either i only run 1 18 or wire them at 2 if i cant get .5

tell me what you think pros and cons, any critism is welcome too

Make sure you have 4 runs of 1/0 from front battery to rear batteries(2 pos, 2 neg). Lots of port area wouldn't hurt either.

4 runs of 1/0 between batteries for 2200rms daily? are you on crack?

dont listen to that guy, but i do reccomend replacing the red top with another kinetik, or do one kinetik under the hood and one in the back. 2 runs of 1/0 will be plenty as well.

don't run that redtop with the kinetiks. it will hurt them.

also is that all the airspace you can spair?

it is all i have unfortunately i have an extended cab ranger what if i ran a isolator between the red top and kinetiks?
