With out members it is just a website...
Here is the thing, most people with lots of knowledge aren't going to join yet another forum. You will get a lot of the post ***** from here at CA however. Many of these new forums just become a place where a group of people who get along on this forum go to brown nose each other...
I wish you much luck however on your endeavor... But, with out a home audio section, there is no point for me to join... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
We do throughly agree with that. That is true. I feel overtime it will balance out. We aren't trying to "replace" car audio, we are just embracing more of what goes on, in, and around the car...
When we first decided to create the site, we made sure that it offered MORE then just the typical that can be found.... We made sure to make it easier to find the right information or stories/topics, to break it up into categories that are efficient and "smarter".
We have and will more so implement AJAX elements to improve the experience of the forum for the end users.... Ever open a topic with pictures, and they were just beyond huge to the point you have to scroll to see them in their entirety? We solved that problem. Take a look at this...

That is just one example, of the many, and it's a good representation of the promise we bring, were our focus is on end user satisfaction and experience.
To correct your statement... we do have a home audio section... entitled "Home Audio and Video" -
http://12vbb.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=42 with a subforum dedicated to "The Setup" where you can showcase your pride and joys... Now if we get a large gathering of ppl that feel that that section needs to be expanded... we would gladly do so, but being it is a 12v related site, that was why right now it is sort of limited.
But again we stress, we plan to fully ensure that the end user is getting the best possible experience...
We don't expect ppl to "drop" their sites, we're just giving an "alternative" with a revolutionary experience...
