Tell me what you guys think of this component setup...

right now i curently have 2 12" ma subs in my civic coupe and was looking to get the mb quart rce213 for the front doors and than the mb quart rce164 midbass drivers for the rear. What do you guys think? or should i throw some tweeters in back or no?

Forget the rear speakers...invest the money instead in sound deadening for your front doors, or more headroom, or building mounts to aim the drivers...

DONT get the MBq's i used to run them and they sound awful, muddy midbass and harsh and annoying alum tweeters.

Look at a set of comps with better midbass and silk dome tweeters, so you can get that smooth sound on the hi end.

I already have a ****load of dyamat and damplifier on its way. Im not looking for a top of the line setup but something good. you guys say definetly no to this?

My buddy used to have some mb quart compenents and i thought they sounded nice. they were the reference seires too

I have yet to hear a crappy set of MbQuarts... There cheap stuff still has good mids and there high end stuff is still some of the best. If you like harsher highs then they are definetly for you. Even though the highs on most mbquarts are not that harsh...just a lack of proper tuning by most.
