parked bobcat, grabbed snowblower
no headlamp, flat tire
blade curled, catches transitions
handlebars jab my ribs -

still, gotta get done
five hours operating snowblower
snowblower fuel runs out
half mile to base
coworker takes me there
burned lots of calories
sweating in my workwear
cold, wet, tired, sore
severe dehydration sets in
delusion and dry heaves
need water right away -

damned clubhouse is locked
go to find gasoline
no f'n gas can
boss's son is radioed
no key to clubhouse
goes for gas/water
coworker/me go shoveling
dry heaves in truck

only foamy stomach fluid
