Teh bass killed my fuel pump

ok ok, turn it down.... I get yelled that everytime I pull into our neighbor hood. Hell, I get yelled at when someone else drives by the house, they think it is me coming home. I guess I am going to try deadener and new shocks. It may just be a coincidence.

edit: I exaggerated this... no shame.

Your setup isin't evn that loud lol. Keep the windows rolled up and stop being a d ick trying to piss your neighbors off.

FYI, I dont play my radio in the neighbor hood. Just a few occasions when i forgot I had it on mute...

this isnt an arguement. I want to make sure it isnt the bass, and if it is, then I need to solve the problem.

I have decided that as a precaution, I will drop the tank replace the pump and put deadener on the tank and line the trunk floor. Thanks. /thread

just throw some spectrum sludge on the underside of the trunk above the area where the tank is. Then see about putting some sludge on or around the tank. then put at least 1 layer of Damp pro inside the trunk. That should at a minimum extend the life of the fuel pump.

could have been low voltage too but how do you know the bass killed it? Just because you have some bass and your fuel pump went bad then it was the bass that did it? Never seen that happen in 15 years, could happen I guess?

get a universal external full pump(should doo the trick)may need fabricating(or somone with performance car experience

i blew my fuell pum when i 1st got my car must have ben going already(now i think im beating the new one to death

any how external universal full pump thats right for your app

either low voltage or coincidence. you have to understand that gas tank is vibrating as soon as you turn on your car, and even more when youre driving down the road. bass has nothing to do with it. dont waste your time or money w deadener.(for your fuel pump, at least)
