there is no teacup chihuahua's or any other 'teacup' breed of dog. sorry , its a runt bred with a runt.
there are only TOY poodles. thats the only one recognized by AKC.

Exactly.

We had a chihuahua that died a year ago and we got another last spring. I love them, nice fun little dogs. If you raise them right they don't bark anymore than any other dog and our chihuahuas were never snappy, they loved to be in public and get as much attention as possible.

I am friends with some people who have one. It's just a little nuisance. It is the saddest little thing I've ever seen. It runs away from everything. For a family dog, get something that will run around and play with the kids. Not a rat.

he will bark a bit but he just wants attention, who doenst?

Just play with him/her and you will be fine.

Dog has learned things pretty quick

My sister has a teacup pomeranian. it is under 3 pounds. You have to be careful not to step on them. I hate walking around the house when it is here. I would never get one that size.

Agreed. My g/f and I got a chihuahua mix about a year ago with promise of my choice of dog once we get our own home. Gotta say I love the little runt. Lots of personality. Def. not true about only clinging to one person. Ours has grown fond of a few people including ourselves.
