Ive got a TC9 coming in the mail this week and am leaving for the beach. I ordered a kenwood kac-9102d amp for the tc9 but it wont be here till next week. ive been working on a box today and it will be finished tomorrow... im going to the beach on thursday. Right now i have a zx300.1 powering my cvr.... can I use this amp to power the TC9 while im at the beach? I usually only listen to the volume around 30/60 because i have a 30w 2 channel amp powering the front and rear speakers and they get very distorted when i crank it up above half volume...
So will teh zx300.1 be underpowering the sub enough to do any damage? I know kicker amps are underrated so could i just set the gain so its 350w at 30/60 on the volume and just never crank it above that? It'll be wired to 2 ohms
