tc9/apoc? based sub rare: help me find info?

I bought these recently. Well from the looks of it, it uses a tc9 based motor with blank un-named soft parts.

all the info I have of them I got from the previous owner so.. here it is.

dont know much about them other than the label on them. supposed to be 2 out of 12 built. not sure though. the only thing on them other than what you see in the pic is a sticker that says

american bass Q

the are quad 1 ohm

I am trying to figure out if they are custom because of just the softparts or if the motors have been machined. If they are like regular tc9s, i'll just find a few more motors and send one to scott to see if he can match the recones. Otherwise I don't want to go buying motors and they not be like this one so.. if anyone has any other info left out or could tell me about the motors/soft parts used i'd appreciate it. let's find out about these woofers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

well superior sounds is based in fresno ca, they later became audio innovations from what I can tell, i do a google search more on superior and find the audio innovationa fresno forum with the mt build.. lost track after that but did find ryan autry' of fresno audio innovations and didn't see much after.. went on steve meade designs to post and what do you know.. audio innovations has their own section there with a topic of now being known as audio innovations. what did their old name used to be? superior sound. all sound via google/luck.
