TC Sounds....

Thanks, I'll read that.

There is a $130 difference in the LMR-S and Axis. Is it worth spend more for Axis if the LMR-S is its replacement and similar?

Different motor(3hp vs TC-9), different voice coil technology(8 layer flatwound vs LMS)...I can't really comment on the rest of the soft parts, but overall they're not too similar. The Axis is more of a groundpounder kind of sub, whereas the LMS-R is geared more towards clean output and better transient response.

Touche, I figured (thats where I went wrong) since the lms-r is supposedly replacing the axis, that they would be similar.

Anyways as far as experience goes, my rl i's are a tc design. They sound WONDERFUL

LMS-R is not the replacement for the AXIS. They coexist as very different types of drivers. If you want to get as loud as possible, go with the AXIS. If you're more concerned with linearity regarding both frequency response and distortion, go with the LMS-R. Both will be plenty loud and will sound very good, each is just better suited for their respective applications.

Pretty much sums it up.

Make your decision based on the info provided not the price difference is my suggestion.

Ok I'm going to go with the LMS-R

Should I get 2-12's 2-15's 3-10's

I'm not sure if I will have room for the 2-15's though

I can find the specs of the subs, but nothing about box sizes. Not much for reviews or what works best for them. I dont build subs or know a lot about what the specs all mean. I'm not a Troll just dont have the best knowledge on this stuff. From the LMR-S and Axis the only difference I can see is motor (dont know whats better) and 4 voice coils.

How is the build quality, sound, performance, reliability of these subs?
if you dont know you dont deserve one stick with your type rs and ur professionally built box, how can you not find information about tc sounds they have built countless subwoofers for tons of different companies. You must really **** at the google machine
