i have an ed nine.1 and ive heard the sub cant be wired to a 1 ohm load, but this make no sense to me b/c a quad 1 and a dual 2 can both be wired to final impedance of 1 ohm, im correct arn't i?

either of the configs you posted can be wired to a 1 ohm final load

the dual 2 coils will read 1.4 or 2, the quad one coils will read .7 or 1

the lower numbers are to account for impedence rise
