I've had this sub for a little over a year. In recent, I've tried a couple other subs and have fallen in love with Dayton's Reference series. Sadly, I'm letting this one go.

$100 OBO

Then I guess Oaudio's been selling the wrong woofers for two years. Looking at the specs from TC Sounds for both the TC2 and TC2+, it does show that the TC2 and TC2+ use different sized motors as you say. However, I still believe this is the TC2+. The magnet width is a full 6" and is flush with the basket. The TC2 shows only a 5.25" wide motor and a noticable ledge between the basket and motor. The TC2+ is flush instead.

From measurements and even just the picks, it seems pretty obvious that mine is the TC2+. I don't know what to say. It would just seem odd that they would sell the TC2 under the TC2+ name and not have someone to complain for 2 years.

my 10" from Oaudio didnt come with an aluminum cone and it came with a grey basket. do you still have the oaudio sticker on yours? it should say the driver on it.

No stickers, flat black. The box just says Oaudio. The cone has the plain aluminum back but flat black painted front, no decals. There's a small sticker on the side of the motor:

Oaudio

Serial number

Build date

Neither the box nor the sub indicate exactly what the sub is, only the website.

Maybe the picture doesn't do the motor justice. It would just seem blatantly obvious if the motor was only 5.25" wide. I pulled the tape measure out, and the motor is the 6.125" that TC Sounds says is the TC2+. I could give you a tape measure shot if you want. Maybe the motor looks a little small when you're looking at 7.5" TC9s all day.

bigj06040, can't see that ever happen...unless it was a busted sub, i.e. paper weight. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

supa_c, agreed, we'll believe our own beliefs. I'm just siding with Oaudio and the manufacter on this one. It was sold as a TC2+ and the motor's dimentions mimic a TC2+'s motor as described per the manufacturer. How it could be a TC2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif no clue...

The TC2+, I'm keeping. I thought it was a steal for $100, but I guess nobody wanted it. Now it's mine, all mine!!! haha! :p It should find it's new home in a nice ported box in the somewhat near future.
