Masta Ace, if the buyer comes through and you miss this one, I may have another option for you. I'll PM you the details.

if only i had the space for a third one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i'll be getting another amp soon, how much power do you think it can take daily... in short 2-3min burst ? around 1200?

Thermally, TC gives it a rating of 800 continuous and 2400 for transients. This doesn't describe any type of enclosure in particular so a lot will hinge on the loading provided by your enclosure and the quality of power you have. I can tell you with certainty that thermal compression will be setting in if you give it 1200 for 2-3 minutes straight but that's as far as I care to advise.

thank for the info. so 2400watt burp are fine? that's alot of power:eek:

box is 4feet net to 29hz. do you think they'll be a noticeable difference between pushing 800watt each to 1200each.

A burp is not at all the same as transient (dynamic) information in music. I think you will regret putting 2400 each to these as they are SQ drivers and the soft parts will not fare well. You suggested as much with an earlier post in this very thread. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It doesn't take more than about 500 to reach Xmax with these and only a bit more to reach Xmech. The coil is robust so that power compression is not a factor, not so it can be used for burping.

Please refer to the last sentence in my previous post for further information.

Driver is pending!

The buyer did a nice deal here. I'm sure you'll love it as much as i do
